TOPIC: Easy to moderate trek in Mid May

Easy to moderate trek in Mid May 7 years ago #569

Hey guys how does a trek to Roopkund sound in mid May, for an easy to moderate trek spanning maximum 6 days? Some of my friends are also thinking of Indrahar Pass.. how about that? would appreciate suggestions! thanks!

Roopkund is tough as compared to Chandrashila or Indrahar pass. Roopkund requires you to go higher than 5000 meters. Try Beas Kund or Hampta Pass trek near Manali, if you are looking for a 4-6 day trek which is ideal for beginners. Any other ideas fellow mountaineers?
